When I received the letter from Bell Bedgebury International School I was expecting a rejection. After I opened it I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was reading the letter over and over again. It was a big surprise for me as well as for my family. But they were happy and excited for me and I couldn’t do it without their support. When I arrived at the School, I couldn’t believe how nice it was. It is beautiful, with lots of trees, a lake and space to explore. On my first day I met the
Head who showed me around the School. Then I met my roommate from Paraguay. She is very nice and we get along well. In the evening we had an activity called speed friendship. We sat at tables and talked to the person in front of us and moved positions after a while. It was a good way of getting to know people and they are all really interesting.
In my first week I got to know all the teachers and they are all really nice. The houseparents take excellent care of us and they ensure we make friends. I get along with all the girls and I find
it really interesting learning about new people, cultures and customs. The subjects I have enjoyed most at Bell Bedgebury International School have been the sciences, particularly biology. I have learned a lot during my time at Bedgebury, from improving my English to developing my subject knowledge. I have also improved my study habits and gained other characteristics that matter in life – like being punctual.
